Many people have asked me what i do for exercise. I like activity based work outs so that rules out the gym and repetitive routines that bore me to death. I like to surf, but no can do on our wave-less beaches so the only other form of exercise I like that relaxes me completely and keeps my weight in check. I’m not a fitness buff or anything, I just like working out enough for my sweat to break out, endorphins to kick in and feeling shiny and happy for the rest of the week. Yoga is something i’ve surprisingly stuck with for about a year and i’ve been with these two instructors, Sumei and Lynn now conducting classes at Verita Wellness. They emphasize on proper posture, placement of hands and muscle conditioning so in future, you can be strong enough to take on more challenging poses. What I love is I can go on a per session basis and not be sold to death on buying a package and most importantly, they truly care for your wellness both physically and spiritually. It has helped me very much throughout the whole time i’ve attended their classes. I have a bad day at work, relationship woes or just plain negativity surrounding me, yoga always helps me breathe and focus. Ever since they moved their classes to Pheonix park, I fell in love with the classrooms. Huge, airy, bright and full of greenery. I’m no yogi, but i thought yoga did me very well so i’ve decided to share this little nugget of information with anyone who is interested. Google for Verita Wellness spa if you like what you see and keen to try the classes out. Don’t need to quote anything/anyone as this is not an advertisement. It’s a recommendation to my lovely readers from my heart

Recently my pal Karen or better known as Renzze painstakingly baked a batch of lovely macarons and presented me with a box of it. How freaking awesome eh?! Observe the beautiful colors!
Here’s a picture of it being halfway munched on. This is the sesame flavored one where she pounded and dry fried the seeds so the macarons were aromatic with the oils. Superb. Laduree, you have a competitor. By the way the color on my finger is OPI’s Black cherry chutney.

Ok i’m kidding. Or maybe not! ;p I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to do an illustration based on these beauties. Unfortunately now isn’t the time, too busy with appointments and packing up for down under. Art materials are going into boxes soon.
God check out the beautiful cobalt blue with that famous red peeking at ya.
Fierce. Nuff said.
The camel studded one gets me high.
Oh good lord.
Cruise anyone?
I’ve been packing my stuff into boxes and been busy getting all my paperwork done. Scanning, printing, scanning and more printing. Compiled my art materials list at a local art store and saved a FORTUNE. Went for my medical the other day and got turned away because i GOT MY PERIOD!!! Worst part of it is I can only go back 10 days after it’s over. Oh the delay. -.-”
ANYWAY. I took a picture of all the shoes i’m going to bring with me to Melbourne. Anyone interested in seeing them?

Client came in requesting for Burberry checks. I tried my best and think they came out more than okay!
All hand painted. It’s surprising how the seemingly simplest designs always turn out to be the most challenging.
I’m not very well and going to bed now. I’ll try for more posts soon. Not very happy about not posting more often but i’ll try since Cny is around the corner and i’m stuffed up to my ears with appointments -.-
Much love xx

Friends and I decided to go bowling at this super crowded but very nice bowling alley. Aren’t the Hello Kitty balls awesome?! Clearly I’m such a winner with my ‘bowl and squat’ stance. -.-” And i was surprised to see that bowling shoes these days have been replaced by velcro and a water resistant material instead of lace-ups and they don’t smell anymore like they used to(clearly, am not a regular bowler) My advice to you people out there is, don’t EVER bowl with long nails. It’s such an agony! But nonsense aside, it was great fooling around, keeling over in laughter and just spending fun quality time with great friends. Sometimes simple pleasures in life are, well, simply a pleasure!
Have you taken time out of your busy schedules and spent some good times with your pals? Do it right now!
