I Will Be Back In Singapore
Hi! Been rather busy at the salon past couple of days leading up to this festive season and I hope everyones’ having lots of fun or at least planning to! I have nothing much planned except for dinners with the salon peeps and close friends, I think its just me getting older haha don’t really like jostling in crowds and being around too many people.
I have been digging up old, old pics of my work from way back when I was running my nail business in Singapore and its really made me miss my super lovely clients! I’ve been so lucky that in the last 11 years of my nail career I’ve met amazing clients some of whom are still friends of mine today! Some of them i have done their nails starting from when they were single, then being proposed to, and then their registry day nails, then their pre-wedding photo shoot nails, then wedding day nails.. now most of them have their first child or are on to their 2nd and third. How time flies and how i’ve missed them all! In fact a large portion I believe are still very much following me on my blog and the closer ones on Facebook. Now that i’ve moved to Melbourne for my studies, I’ve decided to make it a point to take appointments for nails every time I go back to Singapore and this time is no exception! So listen up my SG ladies, I will be back in Singapore from the 27th of Jan, to the 14th of Feb.
I am now accepting appointments all-day from the 3rd of Feb, Sunday to the 9th of Feb Saturday the Eve of Chinese New Year! I have accepted the first wave of appointments as I first posted it on Facebook before anywhere else (Sorry I know but it was the easiest first!) so I am left with few slots, a couple of days have already been booked out.
I would really like to see as many familiar faces as I can or even new faces haha! Would be interesting to see new fans while I’ve been away! So I will do my best to accept as many appointments as I possibly can so I can see all of you! But please do let me know in advance as many girls contacted me last minute CNY this year and I couldn’t take them as I was too fully booked. But it was sure super fun to have worked till 3am almost every night on nails haha!
The venue will be at my family home in Bukit Timah where you will meet my slightly neurotic overly hospitable parents who will constantly offer you food or drinks in their jubilant CNY mood. Scary. For appointments, email me at email@example.com or whatsapp me on +61401528289 and all details will be provided when the appointments have been made.
Meanwhile I shall leave you with some old pictures of one of my salons where I did the most DIY work and put me on a platform to meet the most amazing people. Pardon the resolution and terrible captions, I thought you might be interested in a blast from my past and a reminiscing session for those who have been there. This was back in 2007 OHMERGAWD.
The green turtle is my cute cousin and the painter was my incredible property agent at that time who felt sorry for all the work i had to do and decided to help haha. And that fat bastard at the back in purple is me. Yes. And this was the state of the shop before I got it all done up.
I paint walls.
This was after. Where I had PINK CARPETS. OMERGAWD I LOVED. IT WAS REALLY PLUSH AND YOUR FEET SUNK INTO IT AND CUDDLED YOUR TOES LIKE YOU WERE STEPPING ON CAREBEAR POOP.
My godawesome super workstation decked out with an electric nail file, drawers and drawers of goodies to stick on your nails and a super solid airbrush gun and compressor . The miracles I created at this workstation -.-”
I will hear from my dearest SG girls sooooooooon! <3
Clara H Nails At Decadence Weekend Festival
Hi! I have reappeared after more than a month of working on my uniwork! I have a feeling I am addicted to being busy, so as soon as I have finished uni for the year, I am now involved in a 3 day long art festival over the weekend!!!
It’s a super rad festival, titillating your senses by over indulgent measures. There will be a food festival, an art exhibition, a fashion show and live fashion photoshoots! I will be there to showcase and do nail art at the event, so Melburnians, I promise you A LOT OF FUN. I kid you not. Not only am I doing nail art, I will be setting up my space in the most artistic manner, much like an art display in my workspace itself. I am super excited and overwhelmed at the same time as my garment collection that i’ve been working on for the past few months has been picked to be showcased at my school’s open day fashion parade! Too much going on!
Check the event out on
So before I make a comeback posting photos and details of what’s been happening, please, go to this link

I will see you there my loves!!!!!
